It's over already! . . .

Well, our nice long weekend has come to an end. How come they go so fast? Friday night was the debut of the new artificial turf field at the high school. There was a dedication ceremony prior to the football game for the families and the financial donors of the project, and the Viking football team capped the evening with a win over Sandy. The weather was perfect! Saturday was a beautiful wedding held in St. Paul that went late into the evening, Sunday was a birthday BBQ for mom at the house with Lucas spending the night so his Mom and Dad could have a concert getaway and today was the official christening (packing) ceremony of Blake's new Beaver's tailgater trailer. It will come in very handy for all of the longhauling of tables, chairs, generators, cookers, grills, flags, coolers, lights, bins of stuff, etc, etc, oh my gosh, it's become tremendous the amount of things that get hauled to the games now!! But it's totally worth it!! Yeaaah! Beaver Nation! It was great to see everybody and now it's back to work. The return of the wild (I mean students) begins next week and ready or not here they come!! Here is a photo of Lucas I took while he stayed this weekend, he likes to kiss now . . especially when he sees himself on Grama's oven door!! ha! . so cute.
