Busy weekend! Our family entered the Arbor Day Run (and walk). Nicole is sooo good to get everybody motivated to participate, except me I was a dud. Dale, Chad, Stephanie & Brian, Brian's mom, Andy, and Janelle all ran/walked the 3.5 mile course. I hung back so I could take picutres at the finish line. Since the Grove is known as Tree City USA the proceeds from the entry fees go directly towards planting what?? More beautiful trees of course! Lucas was a trouper in his jogging stroller, he looked very serious most of the time...he was probably getting mentally prepared. His stroller was the second one to cross the finish line (behind the stroller with a windshield, some major stroller competition!). Great temperatures in the mid 60's. Chad even won a gift certificate during the raffle for some bowling at Rainbow Lanes!!! woohooo!
