Always feels good to complete a project.
This weekend was a stormy one at the Oregon Coast. I went with my friends I paint with for a beach weekend getaway. Had a great time, lots of painting done and visiting by all. We took a break and headed over to the casino..where I won $45.00 on a $5.00 bet (not too bad). Also found a new seafood restaurant to try out that was great! Captain Ron's in Lincoln City, they have the same menu as the old Dory Cove Restaurant that burned down a couple of years ago. I had clam strips and their chowder was really good. We got quite a show with the storm that moved in on Saturday morning, it was fun to watch from the warmth of our rental house. We could paint away and watch the wind and waves crashing outside. We made a brief stop at the outlet mall on the way home to pick up some items Christmas gifts. Stopping on our drive home at Starbucks for one of their current holiday coffee drinks (I had an eggnog latte...yum!) Came home to a husband sprawled out on the couch who has the stomach flu.....oh great.......good thing I got my flu shot!

fabulous painting, le'monica! i heard that you had mad skills, but that is super cool! hope things are cool-and-the-gang out in oregon, and i hope you're keeping my baby boy nice and warm and are giving him lots of love! have a good one.
Thanks Erika..you won't believe how BIG the little man has gotten when you see him next month! ps..if you say he needs a helmet one more time you will have to be destroyed..the end.
