We are project people...we are always working on something either in the house or the yard. Seems we just get something finished and one of us has an idea for something else to change. So before winter sets in we are going to get started on building a new smaller deck and flower box next to the pond, as well as set some river rock around the edges of the pond to make it look more natural. After the huge project we did a couple summers ago - tearing out a big deck, laying pavers and concrete, putting in a firepit, we kept coming back to this and saying we needed to get this half of the backyard finished. Our goal is to finish before the really bad weather starts, but we might be working into the rain we know and love here in Oregon. With hunting season quickly approaching and some Saturday's in Corvallis cheering on the Beavers our weekends are going to be few..so spring may be a better completion date...we'll see. 
I guess I should clarify since I did use the term "we" many times. "We" means I think of the brilliant project ideas and supervise (preferably with an adult beverage in hand sitting in a lawn chair) while Dale does the work.
